"A Winter Fairy Tale" by Crystalline
5/12/2019: 1:00 PM - 1:45 PM
On Thursday 5th December, from 1pm to 1.45pm, Devonshire Square will be marking the opening of the 6th edition of its very own “Art for Love” Winter Festival with a mesmerizing dance performance inspired by the magical world of fairy tales, executed by Royal Ballet trained dancers Crystalline.
The talented ballerinas, dressed in beautiful winged tutus, will present an original choreography performed to music from Cinderella ballet, one of the most popular and melodious compositions by Russian composer Sergei Prokofiev.
The dance show is FREE to attend and will take place in the historical surroundings of Devonshire Square’s Western Courtyard, where attendees will also be able to visit the Devonshire Square’s iconic Giving Tree and admire the beautiful and unique artwork “Dreamy Tales of Sugar”, by Scottish sugar artist and pastry chef Jacqui Kelly.
The “Art for Love” Winter Festival is a 2-week programme of FREE attendance, world-class artistic performances and visual art exhibitions, organised and curated by the Devonshire Square’s Events Team to raise awareness and funds in aid of The Connection homeless charity.
