Christmas Carols by The Capital Arts Children's Choir and London Cantamusica

7/12/2017: 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM

On Thursday 7th December at 5.30pm, The Capital Arts Children’s Choir and London Cantamusica will bring the magic of Christmas to Devonshire Square by performing a repertoire of beautiful Christmas carols. The setting of the concert will be the atmospheric Devonshire Square’s Western Courtyard, decorated with a sparkling Giving Tree and golden “twilight trees” - sculptured cherry trees covered in floodlit blossoms - created by British artist Susie Reid Thomas.

The concert is part of Devonshire Square’s “Art for Love” Christmas Festival, a 4-week programme of FREE attendance world-class artistic performances, organized and curated by the Devonshire Square Events Team to support The Connection , London’s busiest homeless charity, in aid of which the Devonshire Square’s community will be fundraising from 1st to 21st December.

The Capital Arts Children’s Choir is an outstanding children’s choir with an international reputation. Its extended biography of recitals, concerts, operas, musicals, radio and TV performances, films and international concerts tours, ensures that the Capital Arts Children’s Choir is one of the most successful Children’s choir in the UK.

London Cantamusica is a choir of young professional singers. The choir gives recitals in London, records at the Abbey Road studios and forms the chorus for Opera Capital Arts. As individuals, the singers have busy careers in the performing arts as singers and actors.
