Illumination of the Devonshire Square's Giving Tree
1/12/2021 - 7/01/2022 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM
From 1st December 2021 to 7th January 2022, Devonshire Square will be hosting in its Western Courtyard its iconic Giving Tree, a unique Christmas tree entirely adorned with red paper hearts on which wishes expressed by homeless people supported by The Connection Charity have been carefully transcribed, in order to give them a chance to be read and honoured by visitors.
If you would like to help, please come to visit The Giving Tree and bring any items that you wish to donate to Devonshire Square Block 6 ground floor reception, at any time from 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, from 1st to 20th December.
All donations will be delivered by a dedicated courier to The Connection charity centre on 22nd December.
Alternatively, you can deliver the gifts directly to The Connection charity or visit The Connection official website to donate online.
First created by the Devonshire Square Events Team in December 2015, The Giving Tree has helped hundreds of homeless people to receive a thoughtfully made gift for Christmas.
We would like to warmly thank everyone who is joining Devonshire Square in supporting this great cause.
Your gesture of generosity, no matter how small, can mean so much for those who cannot enjoy the comfort of a home.
The illumination of the Giving Tree on 1st December marked the launch of the Devonshire Square’s Winter Events Programme which includes the Soul Royalty Winter Festival by Zalon and the Devonshire Square's "Art for Love" Winter Festival, a 2-week programme of FREE attendance artistic performances, organised and curated by Devonshire Square Events Team to raise awareness and funds in aid of the charity.
Should you wish to know more about the Devonshire Square’s Giving Tree or if you have a query on the Devonshire Square’s festivals of arts, please contact the Devonshire Square’s Events Team on 02076850800 or email them on email@example.com and they will be delighted to hear from you.

The exciting rehearsals of the Devonshire Square’s Choir are restarting on Wednesday 9th February! Conducted by vocal coach, teacher, and professional soprano Jessica Norton of Music in Offices, the choir can be joined by everyone, and no singing experience is required. The initiative is part of the Wellness & Fitness Programme, launched by DSQ with the aim of promoting occupiers’ wellbeing and happiness, as singing, especially group singing, helps to promote positive feelings, reduces stress, anxiety and increases feeling of trust and wellbeing. The first rehearsal will take place from 1pm to 2pm in the newly refurbished suite located on the 2th floor of Building 9a. All following weekly rehearsals will take place every Wednesday at the same time and in the same venue. The choir is free to join but availability is limited and registration via email@example.com is required. You are all warmly invited to register and enjoy the re-energising and relaxing power of singing!
