Illumination of The Devonshire Square's Giving Tree
30/11/2019 - 7/01/2020 4:00 PM - 1:00 PM
From 30th November 2019 to 7th January 2020, Devonshire Square will be hosting in its Western Courtyard its iconic Giving Tree, a unique Christmas tree entirely adorned with red paper hearts on which wishes expressed by homeless people supported by The Connection Charity have been carefully transcribed, in order to give them a chance to be read and honoured by visitors.
All donated gifts will be delivered to The Connection charity via courier over the festive season.
The Giving Tree, created by the Devonshire Square Events Team in December 2015, has helped hundreds of homeless people to receive a thoughtfully made gift for Christmas and has been visited annually by people from all over London.
The illumination of the Giving Tree marks the launch of the Devonshire Square’s Winter Events Programme which includes the Soul Royalty Winter Festival and The Devonshire Square’s “Art for Love” Winter Festival, a 2-week programme of FREE attendance artistic performances, organised and curated by Devonshire Square Events Team to raise awareness and funds in aid of the charity.
