London Restaurant Festival comes back to Devonshire Square!
1/10/2018 - 24/10/2018 12:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Launching on the 1st October, the iconic restaurant festival is highlighting Devonshire Square as one of the capital’s most exciting foodie locations.
On 17th October, famous Michelin chef Vivek Singh from Cinnamon Kitchen, one of the most successful and respected modern Indian chefs in the country, will be hosting a bespoke dining event as part of the “Top Ten Cuisines” event series, specially designed four-course dinners, hosted by some of the country’s most celebrated chefs.
As this year celebrates 10 years of Cinnamon Kitchen, the event will showcase traditional Indian methods inspired by the celebrity chef’s youth with a modern flare.
As part of the festival, on 23rd and 24th October, Devonshire Square will also be hosting a Restaurant Hopping Tour, a ticketed event which will enable diners to try five dishes at five of the estate’s most popular restaurants. Taking part in the culinary taste sensation will be Pitt Cue, Mac & Wild, Cinnamon Kitchen, Fish Market and Old Bengal Bar.
Now in its tenth year, London Restaurant Festival celebrates London’s extraordinarily diverse range of restaurants. The unique events programme brings together top chefs with food lovers, attracted to the London’s amazing food offer. This year, guests will once again be able to feast on LRF’s now-fabled Gourmet Odysseys, Restaurant-Hopping Tours, Tasting Menus and Chef-Hosted events, as well as exploring an exciting roster of new events.

On Sunday 17th February, in conjunction with London Fashion Week, the atmospheric Western Courtyard of WeWork's Devonshire Square will be hosting two spectacular fashion shows curated and presented by Oxford Fashion Studio, featuring strikingly beautiful and imaginative collections from six independent designers from all continents. The original collections will range from prêt-à-porter to haute couture, including evening and conceptual design. The Devonshire Square Management launched a successful partnership with Oxford Fashion Studio in September 2015 with the aim of supporting some of the most talented and promising rising stars in the fashion industry. WeWork’s Devonshire Square is delighted to continue this productive and exciting collaboration that has significantly contributed to help young independent artists to be internationally recognised for their outstanding talent. Some of the designers presented by Oxford Fashion Studio in Devonshire Square have been featured by Harper’s Bazaar, Vogue (Britain, Brazil, Italy, Portugal, Turkey, USA), Elle, Grazia, Business of Fashion, Marie Claire, Glamour and more. WeWork's Devonshire Square’s campus is a modern redevelopment of an historic 18th century’s complex of warehouses where the most precious goods traded by the East India Company, including textiles, used to be stored. On the event’s day, its historical brick-walls will provide the backstage for an extravagant display of sartorial creations made with an assorted variety of fabrics, reflecting the unique styles of the talented young designers. The shows are open to the public and tickets are available on the following link: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/london-fashion-week-ofs-aw19-tickets-42670213758 Photo credit: © Patrizia Ilaria Sechi
